When I created my account with Upwork, I didn't realize that I had previously created an account under the same phone number. So when I tried to verify my phone number, it said my number is associated with a different account. I followed the prompts to delete the old account. I waited a few days before trying to verify my phone number on this new account. I am still getting the same error. I need to be able to verify this so I can start applying for work. I tried to find a phone number for customer support so this can be escalated but the phone number says to use the Support chat and the Support chatbot just gives references to access artiles or this forum. So here I am! Please help me!!!
