There are things that always work and there are others that are
circumstantial:
1. Rest. To get enough rest is basic to good health.
2. Right food: Enough fat in cold places. Enough water and raw fruits and
vegetables in hot places. Enough carbohydrates when very active; little
carbohydrates when it's the other way around!
3. Balance. Not forgetting the sentimental part of us and giving it its
place, time and honor. Leave the unimportant things aside and focus on
those things that shouldn't be ignored but may be, like communicating!
4. Entertainment: To have some hobbies and have a good time is as necessary
as drinking enough water. To laugh and relax helps us make balances without
even being aware of what is going on!
5. Enough protein and Vitamins. These are always necessary. Protein is best
absorbed without combining it with carbohydrates; and before we sleep: Fish
or chicken with salad for dinner, for example. Or cheese as snack. Or an
omelette with mushrooms or some vegetables as last meal in the evening.
6. Not worrying. To distract our minds and feelings from unpleasant
thoughts may be a challenge, but it pays well to be in control of our
lives. (A good story, sweet music, fresh air, nature, a stroll, hiking,
...) Let us be content. Let us be thankful. Let us be glad with a good
conscience and await good and great things from life!!
