How to remove old contractors from message list

How do I remove all of the contractors that I never hired from the list on the messages window? Hiding them only seems to work for a day and I have to waste a lot of time scrolling through pages of contractors who solicited me but whom I did not hire.

Hi Marius,

Could you please check this screenshot and confirm if you're seeing more than four freelancers in the "All Recent" section of your Messages? Or you're referring to the list of freelancers on the right that presents once you click on the "View All Rooms & People" link?
