My project is split into 2 milestones. I decided to hire a freelancer. I charged it with 850 USD (GBP 767.08). The amount 767.08 GBP was cut from my account. But on Upwork, it is showing as "Recent charge failed". Please someone look into this.

Contact your credit card company. The majority of the time it's either there is not enough balance available for the transaction or the credit card company's fraud department is verifying the transaction. See if that works. Have a great day!
