I recently finished an hourly job for a client and since then I have been sending in messages to confirm my work but no replies from the client, what should I do?

Do nothing.
I get paid the same amount whether a client replies or does not reply.
If you sent one message, then you are done.
The client knows how to contact you. If he never replies, it does not matter.

Okay, thanks for the answer but should I just send the client the finished work and then wait to get paid?

Yes, you should send the client the finished work.
I never wait to send the client the work.
In fact, I set up a central server location and do all my work there.
My clients have continuous access to all of the work I do for them, in real time, while I do it.
You are not required to do it exactly like I do.
But you SHOULD always send the work to the client promptly.
Don't send multiple messages. Don't wait to get paid. Don't even ask about getting paid. Because payment is automatic.
