I've just noticed that upwork displays all the recent job posts by clients to applicants and and the the talents hired could been viewd easily. Can somebody explain why upwork allows this function? Cause we thinks this violate both clients and talents' privacy.

It's always been that way.

I can't recall ever seeing anyone in the Forum ask about it.

Why does Upwork do this?
I would assume this is key information about a client, presented to help freelancers determine if they want to submit proposals to that client.

This is a valid opinion.

Upwork apparently thinks differently,

I respect their opinion as well.

I don't think this is going to change.

You may need to choose between these two options:

a) Use Upwork, and accept the fact that it does this.

b) Don't use Upwork.

While we do not have a feature or perk for clients to hide the freelancer's name on a contract, there is an option to hide the total billed amount on the contract. Could you please share more thoughts on why hiding the freelancer's name on the contract is beneficial to you and your company?
