What happens if my client is kicked off upwork

If a client violates ToS on their own and gets kicked off Upwork, am I still held to not being able to work with them off platform?

Hi LeMar,

Thanks for your question. All users of Upwork agree to our TOS. If they leave the platform (either voluntarily or because their account was suspended), they are still bound by the terms and so cannot work with users they met on the platform unless an exception under Section 7 of the User Agreement applies (either it's been 24 months from the start of the Upwork relationship or the conversion fee was paid.)
