Despite having a great portfolio in my area of expertise as a video editor and graphic designer(more than 3 years), I have had a hard time finding clients on Upwork. I don't know if it's my profile, wrong timing, or the way I write my proposal.
I will really appreciate if one of you will review by profile and suggest on what aspects you feel I need to change.
upwork made it privat I think.. the same I have, they wrote a mesage that if you are not working with clients, your profile will be privat till the time you start to take orders.. When you apply for orders client can see your profile.. only when send a proposal
You must create a proper profile. What you have now is nothing. This way you will only attract scammers. And the price per hour, maybe a little high with that non-profile? Two profiles, one for design and the other for Virtual Assistance. In both you say the same thing, nothing. If you do design, you should have a portfolio full of examples. But let them be works that you have really created. Don't steal images to fill it out. I leave you a couple of threads that will come in handy.
