When chatting with new client (new job interview), sometimes I have to check original job posting/proposal.
There is a link for that above the messages as, "View Proposal"
I am noticing for many days that the link is incorrect. It's not pointing to the job posting, instead it's pointing to upwork homepage.
Take a look into the screenshot and you will understad what I mean.
Thanks

Happening for all.
When I am hired, it shows "View Contract", but the link is same "https://www.upwork.com/"
You can see the link at lower left corner as firfox shows when you hover on a link.

It's happening for last few months. I have already changed browser, cache cleared and changed OS too in this time but the issue still remains.

Hello.
I am a new freelancer who signed up a few days ago.
Recently I found some issues in here and I will tell it to management team members.
In message page, there is a link named "View contract" on the top of message log.
When I click those links, it is redirected to Job Feed, not any contract.
Same issue happens when I click "Propose a New Contract".
In my opinion, it is not a critical error, but maybe need to be fixed.
Please tell me your opinion about it.
It can be a real issue or I might be wrong.
I hope to hear about it from you.
Thank you.
Petre

Petre, I clicked the View Contract link for an active hourly contract and it displayed the correct page, not Job Feed. You might want to try another browser.

Hello.
Thanks for your reply.
I tried it with "open the link within a new tab".
Of course, When I click it, it works correctly.
But In my opinion, It should work correctly for "a new tab".
Please tell me if it is right or not.

Hi Petre,
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us! You're correct, this is only working while using the left click on those links. We'll be sure to pass it on to our product team.
Edited to add:
I further looked into this and found that we've had a similar report before. I've merged the two threads and will follow up with the team with the new information we just got.
Thank you!

Hey Petre
Upwork support team contacted with me about this issue.
I have provided them full video record from different browser (and cache clear, sign in out as well)
This case is still open for 45+ days.
In the mean time I found that those links are not html but javascript.
If you simply click on that link, you will get it correctly.
If you open a new tab with that link, it will wring you home page!
Hope that helps!
Regards
