Direct contracts are only for clients who are not on Upwork yet. So you must know that client already from elsewhere, and in that case, would they not have your email address already via that other channel where you met?

Does that other platform allow you take clients to another platform? If you have their email, why don't you email them your email address via email?

I have send a direct contract and the contract is now active. I just email and them and there not response at all. Maybe he did not notice the other emails.
