Contract ended due to inactivity

Hello,

My contract with one of my client is ended by upwork due to inactivity. And I was asked for a refund. However, the client wants to pay me the dues and they are not able to. Is there a possibility for the client to pay now? Can someone help?

No, not at all, as long as the client doesn't leave poor feedback.

Sure! You can doo any of the following:

1. Agree to the escrow refund and the client can pay you as a bonus on the closed contract

2. The client can pay you as a bonus on the closed contract and then you agree the return on of the escrow funds

3. The client can pay you on a new contract, before or after you agree to the return of the escrow funds.

in future don't let milestones fester for 3 months like that,

Thank you for your response.

Will it affect my profile rating if I give a refund to the client Kindly advice.
