I received an invitation to interview, and when I went to decline the job several hours later, the option to accept or decline wasn't available. Why would this happen? I'm worried that it will ding my response rate.
I wonder if Upwork deleted the job/client because he gave his email and phone number in the message, which is against TOS. I can still see the notification though, so how do I decline??

Maybe try again after some time?
Refresh the page, change the browser and if still happens just accept the interview and don't accept the offer if your client makes you one.
Better than taking a hit on your response rate.

I can't even accept the interview. There are literally no options...

Usually this happens when the client has closed the job after hiring someone or the job has been removed for TOS violations.

The job was probably removed for TOS violations. It won't affect your reponse rate.

Hi Kelsey,
If you check your Archived interviews you'll see the note "Withdrawn by Client" as a reason why this invitation has been archived. This is why you're unable to respond to it and this will definitely not affect your response rate.
Thank you!
