Profile picture automatically rotated 90 degrees

Hello,I'm trying to update my profile picture with one that looks better. However, when I upload it, it gets rotated 90 degrees clockwise. I've tried rotating the picture on my computer 90 degrees counter clockwise to prevent this from happening, but to no avail. What can I do?

I've tried clearing the browser data on Chrome and it didn't work. I've also tried other browsers: Internet Explorer and Opera and it didn't work either.
