People need to hire professional security experts and hackers for many legitimate purposes, including recovery of inadvertently locked accounts and penetration testing.

I have personally hired many pentesters on Upwork. I do this to help confirm the security of systems I create. And to identify potential security gaps or exploitable flaws. This is a regular job niche and not a violation of any Upwork rules.
