Reply on Gmail box

I have a quick question: Is it possible for me to reply to the client directly using the Windows mailbox?

Hi Sonethavee,

If you use the reply option on your Gmail inbox, it will not respond to the client as the email's sender is Upwork notifications. Please select the option to respond on the Upwork email itself to redirect you to the correct platform to send a response.

You can reply to clients using the Gmail inbox button. I do it all the time, when I am not active on the Upwork platform or when I am working and want to to shoot a quick reply to a client. The message gets posted directly in the relevant chat room.

The only problem -- paragraph spacing of a gmail reply can get wonky at times when viewed in the workroom. 

Regular clients don't mind it. But reply directly with the Green Upwork button during the interview or initial job stages.
