Reviews for projects and job applications

Hey,

New to upwork and just trying to make sure I understand everything. Will any reviews received for providing work in regular job applications be saved universally? or do contractors receive seperate reviews for each project they provide - seperate scores et.

Thanks!

I had to read this three times to understand what your question is.

Maybe first go through the official guides.

There are no "regular job applications" over here, just projects paid by clients and executed by freelancers.

Once the project is completed, the client can leave feedback/review for the freelancer and vice versa. One per project for each party.

Did this answer your question?

If not, please elaborate (after reading the official guidance).

Each project you complete receives a score and feedback of its own which is publicly displayed on your profile. So, if you completed 10 projects you will receive 10 separate scores in the form of stars clients also have an option to provide feedback.

Based on the starts or score you receive for each job, and a few other factors are used to calculate what is known as JSS and the JSS is your universal score.

JSS is an important score that employers consider when hiring and is also important on Upwork to earn and retain special badges like "Rising Talent", "Top-Rated" ects.

Please know that JSS is not the only factor to earn and retain the badges, there are other factors also please refer to articles on Upwork to learn more.

You should not provide any work on proposals. Clients are not allowed to ask for free work and you should not offer any.  There are no "reviews" for proposals (what you call job applications)

You only get feedback (what you call reviews) if you are actually hired and completed a contract and the client left feedback.
