I'm new to Upwork and I have a question about the service fee

When does this amount need to be paid?

Do you have to pay the fee as soon as you accept a job?

Or does the fee automatically get reducted from the money your client pays?

Or do you pay any fees on a monthly / weekly basis?

It is deducted from the money the client pays you when the client has paid.
