Active Time & Success in Upwork

I'm completly new in UPwork, I would like to know : -

(i) For new freelancer (new account) how effective is it to spend more & more time in UPwork ?

(ii) Is there any recommended activities time for new bees in UPwork?

(iii) What is the best step to follow for success in upwork.
