Can I put passion projects (not only real client work) in my design portfolio?

Hi everyone,

I am new on Upwork, (I am a logo designer) and as I am building my profile, I came to the point of creating a portfolio, so I am wondering if I can put passion projects and premade designs in my portfolio, or it needs to be strictly only client work?

I am not familiar with practices here so I have no idea what is allowed and not allowed, what are the best and usual practices and etc.

Thank you for reaching out. You can add them as long as they are projects that you personally contributed to (for example don’t use a project by somebody else even if they are in the same agency) and that meet Upwork’s Terms of Service.
