Connects

Hi, I have a problem with my connects. I was given a free amount of 20 connects when I opened my Upwork account. However none of my connects have returned to me after my proposals to all the jobs i had applied for. None my applications have been answered and all the jobs have expired but I have not gotten my connects refunded to my account. I have not been employed once since I opened my account so I see no reason to withhold my connects. Regards,

Hi Jack, 

I checked the jobs that you sent proposals to. Three of the jobs are still open and active. For the other three jobs that you applied to, the client was able to hire a freelancer for the project. The only time Connects are returned is if the job was closed, and the client didn't hire a freelancer, or if the job was closed because of t TOS violation. Since your case doesn't fall in either of the two scenarios, the Connects you used to apply for these jobs were not returned. 

 

Connects need to be purchased and are sold in the following bundles: 10 for $1.50, 20 for $3, 40 for $6, 60 for $9, 80 for $12. Purchasing connects can vary based on your location, but all Upwork users will be able to purchase connects with a credit card or prepaid card. Additionally, if you have a balance on Upwork you can use it to buy Connects.
