Email verification link sent by upwork navigates to a page with messgae "link has expired"

Hi,

On resetting my passord, I am getting an email verification link to verify my email. On clicking on the link, a page opens with a message "This link has expired"

Can someone help on this?

Just to confirm, did you tried resending the verification email? If yes, do you still receive the same message that the link has expired? Thank you.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

So basically below is the flow of events :

1. I look of opportunities for work from home and wanted to apply for one.
2. I wasn't sure if I had earlier created an account, so I went to Signin
and gave my email and clicked on Forgot Password.
3. It sent me a verification email and I reset my password and logged in.
4. On login, it said I need to verify my email
5. I got the email, and clicked on the verify link. (thats when I get the
error message page)

And a new verification email is already sent again.
