Fee Schedule - 10% after $500 automatic change?

Hello,

I thought I read Upwork takes 20% of the first $500, and 10% after that. I've made over $700 and Upwork is still taking 20%, am I mistaken on the fee schedule or is there something I need to do to fix that?

Thanks!

That's per client. So you have to meet that $500 with each client before the fee goes down to 10%

Aaah that's the issue... for me, also an issue with Upwork. Just as feedback, overall billing would be a more reasonable fee as freelancers would probably use the site more.

Nobody wants FLs to use the site more. The place is lousy with FLs.

@ @Phyllis, please allow me to rephrase your comment-

Nobody wants more freelancers to use the site. The place is lousy with unsuccessful FL's already.

Yes, that is what I really meant.
