Finding first work

I just saw a video showing us to get freelance work (data entry or freelance writing) with upwork. In the video they showed a "Become a freelncer" button. How do I advertise myself to do this kind of work ?

Hi Marcel, 

In order to be able to send proposals on jobs and work you will need to open a freelancer account. You can do this by going to Settings > My Team > Create a New Account. Once you have opened a freelancer account you will need to fill out your application and submit it for a review. Thank you.
