What do you mean by a "clear pay plan"? You're supposed to set your own rates for hourly projects; with fixed rate jobs, you decide how long a job will take and how much you want to charge. Clients are charged automatically once a week for hourly projects; with fixed rate projects, they have 14 days to review the work before the payment is automatically released. It's pretty clear.
