As per my knowledge, you have opened your upwork profile yesterday. So 1st of all you should complete your profile by maintaining all upwork terms & conditions. Then apply for job. And one more thing you should wait to get response.

Hi,
I am not getting views on my profile. Please check my profile.

I would appreciate feedback on my profile,
Thank you in advance!

Danish, your profile is excellent - in particular the video. I am almost tempted to request you to make a video for me (Of course, a paid project!). There are several areas that can be changed on your profile - 1. Consider creating separate profiles for each tasks you do. 2. Consider adding more items to your portfolio. I also checked your YT channel. It has content that will appeal local clients. For Upwork platform, content with global appeal (e.g. education during the pandemic) might be better. 3. Consider adding testimonials. 4. Remove those green icons, diamonds etc from the overview section. You have no demonstrated experience in the medical field but you do have experience in AI. Add AI to the overview section. It will be easy on you if your first few clients are from the AI field.
Good luck. I am sure you will get good contracts on this forum.

Hello,
I am new here. I want my profile to be reviewed by professionals.
Thank you.

Ahtisham, I can't see your profile. So I think 1st of all you should required to buy Upwork Membership Plans, which will help you to choose your username. Then it will be more easy to get new clients.

You no need to do that in here. This is bad advice , i believe .
Sorry Suman ....

Hey there,
I need suggestions/Tips on the improvement of my profile to get maximum invitations to interview. Despite being Top Rated Plus Perk and high number of profile views I hardly get 1-2 invitations a month.
I used to think that Upwork works in such a way that you only get good jobs if you apply on them so i didn't pay much attention in the improvement of my profile in past still I was pretty successful at proposals.
But from last 1-2 months I have observed more than 70% of Clients have already sent invites to other freelancers which refrains me writing a proposal on their job posting so I am pretty curious to get tips from experts to get invitations myself.
Thanks,
Zain M

Zain, I agree that freelancers are receiving fewer invitations from clients. But I am glad that your using the available time to improve your profile. Your video is excellent. I need to figure out a way to add an animated video for my own profile. Some suggestions: 1. Consider using first couple lines to describe the services you offer. 2. Consider checking for recency i.e. you are a facebook marketing specialist but the field may have moved to instagram/tiktok or some similar other platform. Upskilling your services may be necessary. You have a Instagram portfolio item but no information about Instagram services on specialized profile. 3. You have removed a feedback from your profile in April. Perhaps that has something to do with reduced invites? I don't know. But it might be a good idea to talk to an Upwork representative to see what is going on. Maybe till that poor feedback falls out of 6-month window you may need to apply aggressively. Upwork has introduced a feature - mid-contract feedback. I use it every 3 months or 6 months. Consider using that for the future long term contracts.
Hope this helps. Good luck. I am sure you will get start getting invites soon.

Thank you so much for your assistance Aditi,
I've got fair amount of answer, I need to update my profile and portfolio as well, add and update my Portfolio. Yes, I have been working on my skill improvement but I didn't update my profile.
Moreover, that removed feedback has nothing to do with invites I guess because I removed it last week and I'm facing trouble in getting invites for previous 90 days/

Hi, Community Gurus please give me two solutions from yours:
1.I am now a top-rated freelancer and working in the admin support category. I have completed 50+ projects already with great feedback. but I don't get an invitation in the last 6 months! can you please review my profile and give me some suggestions on what I need to do for getting the invitation.
2.I want to work under an agency and it's my dream now to join an agency for working full time. I am sure here maximum person has agency so please add me at your agency as admin support category. Or give me suggestions on how can I find the agency owner at Upwork and how to contact them.
Best wishes to all of you

Shobuj, I am sorry to hear that you are not getting invites at present. You can still use connects and apply to secure a project of your choice. There are some areas on your profile that can be changed: 1. Consider creating another introduction video. Keep your camera at eye level and describe your services. 2. Consider developing more project catalogs. The catalogs that you have at present are probably not popular services. 3. Lastly, the overview section of your profile definitely needs a complete overhaul. Pay special attention to phrases (e.g. when you get in touch with me to discuss your project, I will get back to you within five minutes), grammar etc.
Good luck. I hope you will get new contracts soon.

I can see some basic errors in your bio and the title is also a little confusing to me (I am not aware of your field though). If you are a CA, start your title with "Charted Accountant" so that clients know while reviewing your profile or considering sending an invite that why they you approach you.
Secondly, you can work on the way you are approaching clients. Work on convert a letter a bit and give sufficient reason to clients to reply to you.

Nikita, that's a good start. I am copy-pasting a note I wrote earlier to another freelancer as it is applicable to your profile as well.

Hi Stephanie,
I'm not Mike, but I may help you out a bit.
I just checked your profile.
First, your education is fantastic. But add a bit more info (a sentence or two) about what you did during your studies, sample lessons, etc.
The reason for this is that even though education plays a minor role on Upwork, and finding work within the platform, since you are a new freelancer without reviews, prospective clients might take a look at your alma mater.
Second, try to add some spacing to your profile page. Use also bullet points. You could explain what Social Dynamics means to you, too.
I would add a portfolio of sample analyses that you have conducted for clients outside Upwork, as well.
