I'm new to upwork. So is my client. Neither of us know how billing works. How does the process work? They're waiting for me to let them know.

For you: Follow the offer you are sent and click Accept.

You can't get paid without an offer in place.

Depending on the type of contract you accept, make sure you know all about their specifications before starting the work. After is often too late.
