I'm new to Upwork, Somebody can help me get more clients ?

 I joined Upwork a week ago, And this is my first time using an online platform to freelance, I've been trying to reach clients in need for virtual assistants or Marketing specialists services but it isn't just working for me. I completed my profile, Sent various proposals and cover letters, Decreased my hourly pay, And done everything possible to even get one client and I'm not lucky so far...

I wonder what new people to Upwork can do more than that to get their first clients on their new accounts !
