Is it possible to see where the job request is originating from. When the request involves meeting face to face it doesn't make sense to take the time to apply to a job that is impossible to get.

You mean the job posting? Yes, on the right hand side you can see the country, sometimes also the city, of the client. But it really doesn't matter. This is an online platform, and 99,99% of jobs will never require any personal face to face meeting.
