New to Upwork

Hi guys!

I am a Brand Communications Specialist, with background in corporate Events Management and Marketing Strategy. I joined upwork, but I find it hard to get clients, because it seems that they are looking only for freelancers that already have reviews. Since I am new, I don’t have any.

I am confident in my abilities and I know that I will do a great job, but right now I don’t know if I will ever get one. Can you, please share your experiences? Can you help me with some tips and tricks? Also, can you take a look at my profile and give me some feedback?

You can, of course, apply for any posting that fits your skills.  The JSS is only a recommendation.  That being said, can you add some portfolio items showing what you've done in the past?
