Accessing Settings page with Single Sign on (SSO) not work working

Upwork allows us to link your exisiting icloud or google account and use it for SSO. Since we are required to re-authenticate with a password to access our profile settings we need to key in our password. However, since I have MFA turned on, they dont have option to authenticate/reauthenticate with Sigle Sign on.


I am really frustrated. This is a clear bug but someone from upwork failed to spot this. Now I need to unlink my account (SSO Icloud) and support would ask the following questions.

So I warn everyone DO NOT enable Single SIgn on with Icloud or google.
