End contract feedback

Hello.

In my penultimate contract, feedback was accidentally left mid-contract instead of at the end, and the client plans to start a new project next week and isn't active, so he might not be able to leave feedback within the 14-day period.

Since this mid-contract feedback doesn't count towards my Job Success Score (JSS), it will remain at 82%, and 12 out of my 16 eligible weeks will go to waste, preventing me from becoming Top Rated.

What can support do to help me in this situation, as I've already reached out to the client enough and don't want to bother him further?

Also can you please explain to me more clearly how the JSS (Job Success Score) and eligible weeks work?

Thanks!

Hi Vladimir,

When a contract is ended, the ending party will be required to leave feedback as part of the process. If you ended the contract instead of the client, they would still receive a notification requesting to leave feedback; however, this isn't the same as if the client ended the contract themselves.

You have 14 days from the end of a contract to leave feedback. We created the system to be double-blind, which means that feedback won’t be visible until both parties provide it for each other. We designed it this way to help ensure genuine, independent feedback from both parties. If only one party leaves feedback, we will post it after the 14-day period has expired.

Upwork wont tell you about real JSS calculation.

In your case you need to reach client within 2 weeks, no other ways. Write another message where explain why feedback important for you. Be short and clear. Say about deadlines and other required. Do not repeat or be annoying then.
