Dear Community,
I have now written a second entry. Today I was the victim of credit card fraud.
My personal credit card details were stolen via a scam (not on upwork) and the criminals carried out four transactions on upwork. I myself am from Germany and am currently pressing charges against an unknown person.
My request:
- I would like to have the money refunded as soon as possible
- I would also be grateful if upwork could co-operate with the German authorities to avoid such cases in the future
Problems:
- There seems to be no customer service by phone in Germany or Europe
- The telephone number 001 650 316-750 only reported that customer service is currently unavailable
- I have not yet found a process or form to officially report my case to upwork
- By looking into my account, I have detailed information about the transactions
Can the community help me?
Is upwork interested in investigating such cases of fraud?
