ID verification preventing payment for freelancer plus

i initially added a payment method for a friends account because of insufficient funds, but upwork presented a verification issue
now i have removed that (Asad) payment method and added my own(Ahsan) card details. however the verification process is still asking for ID of the individual(Asad) whose card was added initially despite being removed.
kindly resolve this issue since i am unable to purchase connects.
