Payment method not verified

This morning I have received an offer to interview for a role.  

I saw the role advertised yesterday but did not put in a proposal as it was shown as 'payment method not verified' and as I am relatively new to Upwork I have been avoiding these.

Do I need to be as concerned as I am? Could I find myself not being paid if I accept such work?
