I need to talk to a support agent (not the chat bot) about a private support request. I can't find a way to submit a support ticket.

I am sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with contacting support. You should be able to contact support by going to Upwork Help Center > Contact Support and selecting Chat with Support option.
