Upwork desktop app for Macbook not opening

Hi,

I've downloaded and installed the dekstop app (latest version), and while it is installed and does load it upon opening it, no window opens. I only have a grey icon on top of my macbook. I deleted the app and reinstalled it twice already. Could someone help me out during this boomer moment?
