Will refund affect my JSS?

Hi all,
I'm here today to inquire about something. This has never happened to me, but I wonder if anybody had a problem with @refunds, affecting the JSS? My client doesn't want to continue the project, so he applied for a refund. Would it affect my job success rate? I am still working with him on many contracts and projects. I still have to let Upwork know if I want to continue with the refund

Hi Tanjim,

If you issue a refund to the client, it will not impact your Job Success Score (JSS) by itself. However, the client may still leave a low rating for your work after closing the contract, which can affect your JSS negatively. Therefore, you should try to resolve any issues with the client before offering a refund.
