Language of my client account

I can't manage to change the language of my client account from english to french. This hinders me from posting jobs which require knowledge of french.

Thanks for your question. Upwork is a U.S.-based company and we ask that you use English when visiting our site so there is a shared language among users. In some cases, we may allow another language to be used but you must include an English translation too.

To be honest it's kind of funny to read that today when AI that Upwork loved so much can translate any language into any other language, smoothly.

Deep inside, I thought the 'encouragement' to use AI in job posts and proposals is a start to "remove language barriers", not to make people have conversations in a grammatically correct manner. A bit shallow. 😁
