Someone posted here a Project that we started at freelancer.com
The Texts are 1:1 ours.
In this Post are also our website visible..
Now we got tons of calls, mails and Whatsapps for an Project that we dont start here and that's awarded.

What can we do.

Scammers might copy the name of any company.

You don't owe those freelancers anything. You don't even need to reply to them if you don't want to. Feel free to ignore them or block them. Every freelancer who contracts you via text, phone call, email or WhatsApp is violating Upwork ToS.

Thats right. But it didt not help at all. We get calls from Supplier around the world.
I cannot let the phone ring and dont pickup.

Of curse its not our fault or the fault of Upwork. But it still sucks.
Fortunately the calls have stopped because its Weekend and our Phone System dont accept calls from outside Switzerland 😉
Lets hope the Post is gone until Monday.

ps: i never negotiate with any freelancer/upworker outside a plattform. The Plattform is important for me to ensure that the work is done as agreed.
