Mindfulness

How often do people actively engage in mindfulness practices or simply think about mindfulness in their daily lives?

for me it's daily.  it helps getting more done

My approach to mindfulness is not about meditation, but about cognitive awareness. It is healthy to question one's own position on ... well, on many things. Of course, it's not so healthy if that turns into an internal argument or a struggle. But if questioning one's motivations, opinions, and decisions in a thoughtful and peaceful manner is a strength, not a struggle, then I find it a proactive way to stay afloat and balanced.

Honestly tried many times, but never happened to make it constantly

Mindfullness is doing it daily...without any expectations.  We just get better by doing it badly many times...
