Availability Not!

The first rule of business is that the more you make it easier for folks to use your product/service--and to engage with you--the more people will do so. But if you make people jump through hoops--many of us just won't bother with whatever you’re offering. (Not to mention that equates to a loss in cash flow for your business.)

That's the obvious problem with Upwork. You willy-nilly turn off our availability setting with a silly excuse that doing so somehow benefits others.  A much better plan would be to reset availability when a user hasn't used the site for 90 days. Otherwise, much too often you change our setting.  And to try to control your users is dumb. Today it's on--tomorrow not. Most of us just don't have time for such nonsense. Upwork needs to get a clue, already!
