Client always ask for personal contact

Since Upwork change their TOS, I have gone through a lot of interviews that clients ask for contact information like email, skype, hangout, or slack. When I mention that I can not share it with them they already behave like I am a difficult freelancer. I think maybe other freelancers still share it normally.

And then the interview turns completely opposite from "I am really interested in your skills" to "How we suppose to be a partner since you are being difficult from the beginning". So the result client leaves because I can not share contact with them.

What are the solutions for that? I lost a lot of good interviews because of that.
