Client not charged

I got q job that took less than 12 hours to complete. I charged the client manually and she ended the contract. I just realized the client wasn't charged and the contract has ended. How could such a thing have happened?

This is perfectly normal. Clients are always paid for the previous week's hours, manual or tracked, on Monday afternoon UTC.

Of course manual time is never guaranteed and you won't get paid if there is an issue (non-payment or dispute) but in general as long as you entered the manual time into your work diary correctly, the client will be charged today just like every other client with any other hourly contract.
