Hello,
Not really new to upwork, allthough I cannot find the answer. I was hired for a translation job on hourly basis. Where can I start my timer or how does this tracking of worked hours work? I did it once before, but can't remember how I managed to get the ball rolling at that time.
Or is there some software needed to track it? I'm on a new pc, and probably isn't installed any more if that would be the answer.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Davy.

Check here, Davy, to download the desktop time tracking system:
https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211064088-Install-the-Desktop-App
Once it's installed, always invoke it when you're working. Every current hourly job you are working should be available in its dropdown menu.
If at all possible, don't plan to manually add any hours. Your client willl no obligation whatsover to pay you for such hours, even if they "allow" you to add them.
