Hi freelancers. I recently joined upwork hoping to increase my chances of getting hired, but still in vain. I do have the skills and expertise in English, data entry, proofreading, translating and so many other skills, which require accuracy. But, I failed to get invitations, and then, my profile is still private. What shall I change? Lowering the hourly rate to 5$ for instance. Desperate

Or in other words, no marketable skills.

Upwork clients have not been saying that they need more freelancers with these skills.

If that is all you have, then it may well be a waste of your time to try to get going here.
