Payment Irregularity

Hi everyone,

I am a freelancer, and I initally responsed to an offer with a price of 25$/hour. After talking with my client, we agreed to round up the price to 250$/month. He told me that he preferred setting up a weekly payment of 62.50$. So we agreed that I will not log any hour and he set up a recurrent additional weekly payment of 62.50$ (see pictures).
The first payment just came through and I only received 37.5$. Can you guys help me understand why?

Hi Dounia,

I can see that the weekly payment amount was set in fact for $62.50. However, the amount you receive for the week in which the contract started, is a percentage based on the day of the week. Since your contract started on a Wednesday, you get 60% of the total amount agreed for that first week.
