Zoho Books fill in

Hi all!
How do you fill your incomes when using a software like Xero, QuickBooks or Zoho Books (my case)? I mean, who is the customer? Is UpWork because they pay us or is the client who is on the invoice?

I ask it because I wonder if the accounting should match my bank statement. In my bank I got paid by UpWork for a service sold to another entity. I am confused! Thanks

Employment can be created only by an employer. Upwork does not act as an employer or otherwise engage you. If you have a long-term client on Upwork we recommend contacting them to see if they can provide you with verification of employment or of services rendered. I'm sure that other community members would be happy to share more information with you as well.
