Cannot signup using the email with which I previously had an upwork account

I tried to create an upwork account using my personal email. I could not finnish the process.
Now when I try to create the account again using same email. I can no longer create an account neither can I reset password. It is stuck in the loop.
Account creation wizard tells me account with this email already exits.
Password reset tells me that account with this email does not exists
can anybody help solve this issue?

I cannot sign-in to UpWork using my previous account.

Google account s...9@gmail.com is not recognized for Google Sign-In on Upwork. Please make sure you are using the same account that you have previously linked.
