Hourly work not showing in timesheet app | Payment issue

Hi Upwork,

Regarding my first contract, I was hired on an hourly basis and the work was completed within two days. However, as I was unaware of the desktop app for tracking hourly work, I'm unsure how to get my payment. I've submitted my invoice to the client.

My client is also new to upwork, he is also unaware of how to proceed with the situation.

Can someone advise on the next steps?

Hi Diwakar,

The ideal way to log your time for invoicing on Hourly Contracts is using the Upwork Time Tracker as it is a requirement for Payment Protection. However, since you already completed the work, the best course of action right now would be to add the time manually. That said, please note that manual time does not qualify for Payment Protection. Once you add the time it will be invoiced to your client automatically as per the Weekly Billing Cycle.
