Nothing (with that "client"). Literally, just do nothing.
If you have some indication that that particular client is not malicious, yeah you can send them a message through UpWork.
But, don't. No real client is adamant about chatting off platform before contract is in place.
Just ignore them and continue with your life as a freelancer (keep sending proposals, look for jobs which suit you best).
